Ryan Gosling's replica Watches

From replicamagic… Spotlight on: Ryan Gosling’s Replica Watches, on and off screen. Watches of vintage and old-school cool. Canadian actor Ryan Gosling makes well-thought-out choices in his movie career, and he seems to have the same discriminating judgment when it comes to timepieces. Mysterious, glamorous, and sometimes out of reach, Gosling’s watches reflect the kind of celebrity that he is. Whether it’s on screen or in real life, Ryan wears classic timepieces, that are often more than just timepieces – they’re part of history. Let’s check them out.

Let’s start with Ryan’s movie watches. Somehow, his personal penchant for vintage watches also shows up on screen. His latest movie, First Man, is based on the life of astronaut Neil Armstrong. Ryan wore period-correct Omega watches in the film – including the Omega Speedmaster 105.003, which Armstrong wore during training at NASA. Of course the film won’t be complete without the actual model that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin famously wore while on Apollo 11 – the Omega Speedmaster 105.012. The watch has since been famously dubbed the MoonWatch.

In the 2016 romantic musical drama, La La Land, Gosling plays a struggling jazz pianist, and his wardrobe had a distinct nod towards the 1940s and ’50s. He wore a simple gold watch throughout the film - a vintage, 1950s Omega, with Arabic numerals and arrowhead markers. He also wore a vintage watch in the 2011 romantic comedy Crazy Stupid Love - a 1940s Rolex Oyster Perpetual. The bubble back watch was in full yellow gold construction. In the same year, Ryan also appeared in the action drama film Drive. He wore a white gold timepiece throughout the film, supposedly a Patek Philippe, but it has been confirmed to be just a prop, and not an actual model created by Patek. Ryan is also quite selective of the watches fake rolex he wears in real life. He doesn’t have a lot of timepieces, but makes fabulous choices.

His go to watch is a stainless steel, late 1950s Rolex Air King, reference 5500. There’s no shortage of photos with Gosling wearing this watch, from casual events, to The Oscars. In a sea of brand ambassadors, this watch really sets him apart. And finally, we have Ryan’s vintage Jaeger LeCoultre Master Memovox, the original automatic alarm watch. The perfectly round case, clean dial, and mechanical alarm are right up Gosling’s alley, with its minimalism and old school touches. Ryan definitely knows that the smallest details make the man – in this case, his wristwatch. Which one was your favorite? Tell us in the comments section.
